These four star cottages are located on the slopes of the Glenelly Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the heart of the Sperrins. This is a fishing and rambling utopia, with excellent opportunities for coarse fishing for Trout and Salmon (Foyle Fisheries Road Licenses are needed). The area is also something of a rambler's paradise, with the Ulster Way crossing the valley, where you can experience complete freedom with only the sheep and birds as your companions. For the less energetic, the scenic drive from Glenelly Valley to Gortin Glen offers magnificent views, where the variety of the landscape is breathtaking. The cottages are an ideal base from which to explore Northern Ireland, to discover the history of the land, or simply relax and get away from it all. All cottages in Glenelly are less than an hour's drive from the market towns of Omagh, Strabane, Magherafelt and the historic city of Derry.
The Sperrin Clachan is situated one mile from the small village of Cranagh which has it own traditional pub and local church. The cottages are located beside the Sperrin Heritage Centre which has a children's play area and a restaurant/tea house.
